Seabird Guano High N/Cal
Seabird Guano is a powerful and versatile amendment that is derived from the droppings of seabirds. It is a rich source of nitrogen, phosphorus potassium, calcium, and a wide range of trace minerals. Seabird Guano is also a good source of chitin, which is a natural compound that has been shown to have a number of beneficial effects on plant growth.
The source of High Nitrogen and Calcium Seabird Guano we are offering comes from Peruvian origin and actually having been mined decades ago. We’re big fans of this ingredient and like to use it in our soil blends and fertilisers so we’ve obtained enough to be able to offer it as a raw ingredient as well. A little bit of this product goes a very long way, and it is quite versatile.
In contrast to the High P/Si guano we offer this Peruvian Seabird Guano really packs a special kick to it, it is one of the more potent nitrogen sources you can use (almost as high as Blood Meal!) but it is in a mineralised form that is quite unique due to the age and composition of this guano.
Benefits of using Seabird Guano:
- Provides a high-nitrogen boost
- Improves soil structure and drainage
- Provides a wide range of trace minerals
- Contains chitin, which has beneficial effects on plant growth
- Can be used to correct nutrient deficiencies
- Improves the overall health and productivity of plants
